In 2022 in the month of July, I got tested my HbA1C, which was 8.4, and my body weight was 68.5, I was in kind of shock as well as was feeling very weak and lack of energy. Hi,

I had heard about Food and Wellness from a dear friend of mine and was inclined to step up and take this challenge of reversing my diabetes. With the help and guidance of Dr Meenu Agrawal I was able to get my sugar levels reduce from 6.6 to 5.3 hb1c within a span of 4 months. In this journey I was trained to opt for smaller lifestyle changes like walking 10k steps, follow functional workouts and switch to lighter yet filling food menu. These changes when done on a regular basis resulted in a huge impact which one can only feel. Hi All , am super happy to share my experience with Food N Wellness and sincerely urge anybody who has gut issues to please enroll and treat yourself .

A little background about myself: I am Sheena Unnikrishnan, a 55 year old working woman with a very hectic job schedule. From childhood, I have had stomach issues and have taken treatment from multiple doctors, including Homeopathy and Ayurveda . Sadly none of them helped . The first call with Mrs Meenu Agarwal was the start of a journey. She explained that if I use the word “diet” then I am putting an end date to the programme. In reality it is a lifelong commitment to healthy eating, exercise, wellness and a new way of life.
I reflected seriously on this aspect and committed to the mindset of a successful journey. Starting the journey on 9th March 2023 and losing 15 kgs over a 6 months period along with feeling much more energetic and positive has been a wonderful outcome to date.
Gone are the days of eating “Bhujia” and “Papad” with every dinner, a tradition with many “Marwari” families. The changes to the palate have been slow and steady leading to not missing these at all.My business and social life requires entertaining and eating at restaurants as also at private homes. I have learnt to keep a fine balance between what I eat when going out along with my meals at home. What has been helpful is to declare my dietary requirements at the start of a meal and most of my guests/hosts have appreciated the move to healthy eating. I was a borderline pre-diabetic, and this has been reversed in the first 3 months. There is a saying in the UK “A moment on the Lips and a lifetime on the Hips”.I appreciate this much more now and would certainly recommend a change in mind set to anyone who wants to improve the quality of their lives.Both Mrs Meenu Agarwal and Ms Ridhhi Bhatt have been very supportive through this journey. Lastly, my journey would not have been possible and sustainable without the untiring efforts of my wife, Anupama.
