Description
This zero-oil chicken recipe is a great source of lean protein, is low in fat, and has a balanced amount of carbohydrates and fiber. - 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (Indian spice blend)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
