Description
Thai Basil Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a light, flavourful, and protein-rich meal made with lean chicken, aromatic basil, and crisp lettuce cups.
Ingredients

Chicken breast (minced or finely chopped) – 120 g

Thai basil leaves – 8–10 leaves, chopped
(regular basil can be used if Thai basil isn’t available) -
Garlic – 1 tsp, finely chopped

Ginger – ½ tsp, grated

Onion – 1 tbsp, finely chopped (optional)

Green chilli – ½ tsp, finely chopped (optional)

Soy sauce (low sodium) – 1 tsp

Black pepper – ¼ tsp

Oil – 1 tsp

Lettuce leaves (iceberg / butter lettuce) – 3–4 large cups
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.

Add garlic and ginger; sauté for a few seconds until aromatic.

Add onion and green chilli (if using) and cook until soft.

Add minced chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring well, until fully cooked.

Add soy sauce, black pepper, and mix well.

Switch off the heat and fold in chopped Thai basil.

Spoon the chicken mixture into lettuce cups and serve warm.
