Description
Our Moong Bean Hummus is the perfect plant-based dip, made from green moong beans and a blend of spices, providing a healthy, protein-rich alternative to traditional hummus spreads.
Ingredients
Scale
- Cooked moong/ mung beans 1 cup,
- Garlic Paste 1 tsp,
- Coriander leaves, 2 tbs roughly chopped,
- Lemon juice (1 tsp)
- Tahini (2 tsp)
- Extra virgin olive oil(1 tbsp)
- A pinch of turmeric- for colour
- Salt and pepper- to taste
Instructions
- Place the moong, garlic, Coriander, tahini and turmeric in to a food processor. Blend it all together until every thing combines in to a rough-looking dip
- Transfer in to bowl, add olive oil in a thin stream through the top.
- Blend until silky smooth. Add pepper and salt to taste
