Ingredients

  • ½ cup boiled chickpeas (kabuli chana)
  • ½ cup chopped cucumber
  • ¼ cup roasted makhana (fox nuts)
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion (optional)
  • ¼ small tomato, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala (optional)
  • Salt to taste (use black salt for a tangy twist)
  • Green chili (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, cucumber, onion, and tomato.

  • Sprinkle salt, cumin powder, and chaat masala.

  • Add lemon juice and chopped green chili.

  • Toss in roasted makhana just before serving to retain crunch.

  • Mix well, garnish with coriander, and serve fresh!
